The Alaska Trucking Association wanted a more contemporary and striking logo. It to be something that would work equally well on a letterhead as well as the side of truck.

The result was a very strong graphic that contains references to mountain ranges, snow capped peaks, a highway receding to the horizon and the Alaska state flag and of course the ATA initials.
