The Caribou Hotel in Glennallen, Alaska, had a website in need of a total makeover.

The home page features a slide show of photos featuring the hotel and the region. Many lodgings in the interior of Alaska are only open during the summer tourist season. A winter photo of the hotel at Christmas time was used to remind people that this is a year round hotel.

The overall design concept was to create the feeling of refined rusticity, or a rustic elegance if you prefer.
