Each trip page contains overview information about a trip which is also in the book. Additional information includes a large number of photos in a photo gallery as well as elevation profiles which didn't make it into the book.

The profiles are created by an XML driven Flash component. So rather then creating over 40 graphics manually, all that was needed was to enter mileage and elevation data into the XML data files. The animated Flash charts are then created on the fly. Changes to the XML file are easily made and there is never any need to edit the Flash files. Various aspects of the appearance can be styled by editing parameters, again with no need to edit Flash files.
